The EXCITE Newsletter: December 9th, 2021
Getting Questions About Vaccines for Kids? Focus on the Family! EXCITE is specifically funded with a focus on adult vaccination as there is very little funding designated to adult immunization education compared to childhood immunization education. However, given the focus of COVID and the need for adults to be informed to make decisions for their children, it is acceptable to build children’s vaccines into your messaging. We encourage you to incorporate messages on parents/the entire family being vaccinated so it is not just focused on Youth. If your messages can “focus on the family,” we meet all intentions. |

Share Your Projects at Future Spotlights We still have spaces for teams to share their projects – challenges as well as successes – in our next spotlights. We are looking for teams to self-nominate to present in 5-minute “Ignite/Lightning”-style presentations. Please contact Katie Stofer katiestofer@extension.org as soon as possible. |

He begins: “Starting any new venture can be scary. Deciding to tap into our creative entrepreneurial spirit can take a lot of courage, patience & a bit of ignoring our insecurities.” Read the full blog post here. |
