RFA: Vaccine Hesitancy of the Cooperative Extension System: PROPOSAL DEADLINE EXTENDED to November 12th
We invite all Land Grant Institutions to apply for up to $300,000 funding for Dec. 1, 2021- April 30, 2023, to: 1) assess vaccine hesitancy of Extension field educators, specialists, and administrators, and 2) create and implement a strategy to reduce vaccine hesitancy for COVID-19 and other adult immunizations to increase confidence and willingness to become immunization educators in their community. The goal of this project is to reduce hesitancy around vaccination and increase willingness to serve in educational roles around adult vaccination among Cooperative Extension personnel at all three types of Land grant institutions (1862, 1890, 1994). View the Vaccine Hesitancy of the Cooperative Extension RFA, and view the application guide. The deadline for the RFA is now November 12, 2021. |

New Excite Catalyst Coach
We welcome to the EXCITE team Dr. Linda Kirk Fox. Linda is joining EXCITE as a Catalyst Coach that will assist teams in A1 and A2 around innovation and implementation. She will be working alongside the team of PI’s and EXCITE coaches that are in place now for all A2 teams and will also be available for A1 teams. Having a catalyst that can be devoted to working alongside our teams is a wonderful addition. Linda retired in August as the Dean and Associate Director of Extension and Experiment Station, Family & Consumer Sciences. She has worked in Cooperative Extension in various roles for 40 years and got her start in her Extension career as an agent and specialist and became a major contributor to the Cooperative Extension System’s National Framework for Health in 2013. Linda is working on a part-time basis to assist in thinking through innovation, implementation barriers, and connecting appropriate resources with teams. Please join me in welcoming Linda to the EXCITE team! |
